The Notorious B.I.G.’s Brooklyn Apartment He Grew Up In Is Available To Be Rented At $4,000 Per Month

The Notorious B.I.G.’s memory was recently honored in his hometown of Brooklyn as now has his own street in his name with “Christopher ‘Notorious B.I.G.’ Wallace Way.” He’s without a doubt one of the best rappers of all-time and his legacy will never be forgotten.

More moves in Brooklyn are being made regarding Biggie’s name. According to The New York Post, the apartment that he grew up in his available to be rented. As expected, the cost is high as it is in New York City and will be at $4,000. It is on the third floor of 226 St. James Place in Clinton Hill.

It used to be a one-bed room apartment but gentrification in the area as resulted in it turning into a three-bedroom spot. It recently underwent renovations.

“It’s a beautiful home and a fantastic neighborhood, filled with little shops and great transportation,” said Compass broker Fabienne Lecole. “The apartment is iconic … a historical gem. The neighborhood is all hipsters and millennials,” added Kathleen Perkins, a Douglas Elliman broker. “People in finance and tech people.”

When Biggie was growing up in this area, violence and drugs plagued the neighborhood. Now, it’s one of the highest rising areas in Brooklyn.
