Even with all the hype around the Toronto Raptors’ championship win, the biggest story in sports is the David Ortiz shooting. Everything is going wrong in the Dominican Republic, one of the world’s most-popular tourist destinations. But, to Big Papi, this place is home.
Partying in his native DR, David Ortiz found himself shot, and rushed to the hospital. Initial reports claimed Ortiz was the victim of a robbery gone wrong. Later rumors said a drug lord ordered a hit on Ortiz for him sleeping with his wife.
Since then, a transaction was surfaced online, but now there is another report. This latest report contradicts the entire David Ortiz shooting story. The latest update is claiming the whole shooting was a case of mistaken identity.
