Catfish’s eighth season officially kicked off on MTV on June 12 after season seven concluded back in January. Co-host Max Joseph left the show last year to pursue other film opportunities and that left more room for possible guest co-hosts to join Max Schulman.
Schulman said to TMZ that Ariana Grande put on her Instagram Story that she was watching Catfish and ended up following him. He followed Grande back and soon hopped in her DMs by saying it was nice to meet her. Grande mentioned how much she loves the show and also entertained the possibility of being on it.
Schulman said once they start filming more episodes, he’d love to get Grande on the show. It’d definitely be entertaining to see even more guest hosts on Catfish, especially someone as famous as her. Check out Nev discussing Ariana possibly joining Catfish below.
