Irv Gotti and Ja Rule discuss Fyre Festival, “Growing Up Hip Hop,” returning to music, and more on “The Breakfast Club” [VIDEO]

This current generation may not even know who Irv Gotti and Ja Rule are, outside of the memes. Over the past couple of years, Irv Gotti has reinvented himself as a TV producer. In 2017, “Tales” was a major success, for BET, but it’s been off the air for well over a year.

But, Ja Rule is portrayed as the consistent foil for 50 Cent. Back in 2007, when many of the current young adults were just children, Rule looked like he was going to pull off the comeback. Instead, he has gone through prison stints, and failed festivals.

Irv Gotti and Ja Rule were recently announced as additions to the cast of “Growing Up Hip Hop.” In the wake of that news, Irv Gotti and Ja Rule stopped by “The Breakfast Club.” The two spoke with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God talked about Fyre Festival, “Growing Up Hip Hop,” TV, music, and more.
