Meek Mill gets new hearing in front of new court, following a decade long battle, and a prison reform initiative

Because of an offense he picked up, when he was a teenager, Meek Mill has endured his fair share of struggles. The world got to know him, in 2011, but he actually was first signed in 2008. Back then, T.I., who was on top of the game, signed him, but Meek left due to legal woes.

Meek Mill, at the age of 21, could have taken over the game, but had to wait three years. Upon being released from prison, Meek hit the streets hard, with his mixtapes. Another deal, with Maybach Music came, and then Meek was on top of the game.

Throwing simple rap bravado, Meek Mill had several appearances in court, over his lyrics. Once hitting his prime, Meek was dealt two prison sentences, in the middle of his career, hindering two album releases. All the drama led to Michael Rubin and Jay-Z getting involved with getting him a new judge.

Finally, Meek Mill is getting the new hearing, next month, with an entirely new court, and a new judge.
