#LHHATL’s Tommie Lee Avoids 54 Years In Prison For Throwing Daughter Into Locker At Her School; Ordered To Take Residential Recovery Program and a Year of Aftercare With Doctors

At the beginning of the year, Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta star Tommie Lee was indicted on child abuse charges after throwing her daughter into a locker and hit her with a purse at her middle school. She was facing 54 years in prison for this case but after pleading guilty today to five charges, she won’t see a day of prison from this point, per TMZ.

The sentencing took place today and Lee almost got 10 years in prison but that time instead will be put towards a residential recovery program and 12 months of participating in aftercare with doctors. She will be on probation for this time as well as other conditions. These include not having violent contact with a child and can’t be at events where drugs and alcohol are there. She must also abide by an 11 PM curfew, pay a $1,000 fine and take random drug and alcohol tests. If she wants to travel outside of Georgia, she has to get approved for it.

If Lee is found to have violated any of these conditions, she could end up in prison. Hopefully Tommie does end up getting the help she needs in regards to staying out of trouble along with the alcohol and drug use.
