Last night on Instagram, Lil Durk said he’d be turning himself into police today but the reasons were unclear. He kept his word and is in police custody now as he’s facing five felonies, per WSB-TV.
They are all in connection to an Atlanta shooting he was involved in on February 5. The charges are criminal intent to commit murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and another charge of associating with a criminal street gang to participate in a crime.

The shooting reportedly went down at The Varsity restaurant at 5:45AM. A man was seen with a gun shot wound as 13 shell cases from a rifle and pistol were found as. A gun was left at the scene as well.
Police say that two witnesses told them that the man shot was in an argument with another man prior to the shots being let off. It’s unclear so far if the shooter was Durk but based on the arrest and charges, that could be the case.
