Every summer, Miami is home to the hottest pool parties, and during the spring, it is the top Spring Break destination. But, in the summer, the top pool party to attend is the 2k Pool Party. This year, once again, they are going all out, with Prince and Eliza Reign hosting.
Prince is best-known for being on “Love & Hip Hop Miami,” while the gossip blogs love discussing Eliza Reign. But, these two are coming together for Miami’s top summer events. Though not often discussed, the 2k Pool Party helped Kodak Black, among others, rise to fame.
Founded by Joel Franklin, Robert Moise, and Julian Hanlan, the 2k Pool Party has evolved, over the past decade. These three began the pool party as a graduation party, in Hanlan’s back yard. Since then, the event has been attended by Fabolous, Trina, Michael Rainey, Jr., Troy Ave, Andre Drummond, and more.
2k Entertainment has become a huge force on the Miami party scene and an outlet for independent artists to promote their music. With previous events drawing in over 3,000 attendees, this year, Franklin, Moise, and Hanlan are anticipating the biggest event yet. These three have spearheaded a large team over eighteen people that have done several successful events in the Miami area, where the late XXXTentacion also began his journey to fame.
On May 25, they are set to do it again, and who knows who will show up to party, or the next star to be born.
