Running a business takes a lot of patience and discipline and that even isn’t a guarantee that the business will succeed. Many celebrities open vanity businesses that live and die by their popularity. However, there are those who have managed to diversity, blazing a new trail.
Teyana Taylor is following the trail blazed by those who diversified, as she has a Harlem boutique. Unfortunately, when businesses are run by people of color, they face a different set of circumstances. Being in the neighborhood is great, but it also can be taken for granted.
Last night, Teyana Taylor shared the above photo, along with more, and videos. Vandals, presumably teenagers, ended up trashing her boutique, breaking her shop’s windows. Heartbroken, Teyana Taylor shared all of this on her social media.
