Since 2017, Cardi B has been on an incredible run, with the music. In the past, Cardi B was only known for doing “Love & Hip Hop.” Even when she was doing the show, Cardi B was dropping music, but not having much of an impact.
Cardi B has since broken through, making history with music. In 2017, she topped Billboard, with “Bodak Yellow,” which was followed by her album release. Then, last year, she topped Billboard, again, when “I Like It” took over last summer.
Given the momentum, Cardi B could have a third number one record, as “Please Me” is dominating radio. But, in the here and now, Cardi B isn’t doing too well. She had to pull out of an upcoming Baltimore concert, because of complications from her recent plastic surgery.
