Platinum recording artist, King Tiger is back! This time he’s bringing his talents to the bookshelves and kindles worldwide with his new novel “Lord 4Give Me.”
Tiger teamed up with his partner, best selling author, Eugene L. Weems, to create a printed masterpiece, which has already become one of the most talked about books this year. Tiger titled the book after his Platinum single, “Lord 4Give Me” featuring Solomon Childs of Wu-Tang Clan Killa Beez which did over 6 Million streams and downloads across a variety of streaming platforms. The Ghostface Killah and DJ Symphony hosted project received a Platinum plaque and garnered over 5 Million downloads in a week on Wu-Invasion World Edition Vol 2. His single “Lord 4Give Me” was also awarded a plaque from SoundCloud for accumulating over 1 million streams on the music streaming platform.
On May 17th, King Tiger held a Meet & Greet Book Release Party in the Bronx that was sponsored by Sprite and Coca-Cola. There were only 100 books available for purchase at the event as part of the exclusive book signing. The meet and greet was a huge success! Many people came out to support the upcoming book along with guest star appearances by Wu-Tang celebrity guests and News 12 The Bronx. There were additional special appearances by urban fashion designers of Money Getters Only, LLC Apparel Brand, as they attended the event to support the author at his new major book release party.
Of course King Tiger stepped into his book release party looking fly rockin’ a sweat suit made exclusively by Money Getters Only that match his Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 sneakers. Tiger concluded the successful event with an incredible motivational speech about entrepreneurship and how people from New York don’t support their own, in their own city. Tiger goes on to say:
“No matter how much of a stardom a mainstream celebrity has they don’t always fill up venues with huge crowds comparing to how it used to be” dropping names like Funk Flex, Dej Loaf and Jay Critch.
Today (May 20th), is a day full of celebration! King Tiger made sure to release his first novel,“Lord 4Give Me, on his birthday.
The novel is a must read! Consisting of true love, friendships, bonds, a dope chop shop and an ending in paradise, it will have you glued to the story with every word.
King Tiger has also announced that he’s working on a forthcoming album and it’s on the way. The project will feature some Hip-Hop heavy hitters such as, Wu-Tang, Elephant Man and many more. Although there hasn’t been any release dates, cover art or a complete track list revealed as of yet, fans are eager for more new music from King Tiger. Stay tuned!
