Feds Trace Fingerprints On Gun To Kodak Black From March Shooting Where He Supposedly Tried To Shoot Florida Rapper He Was Beefing With In His Hometown

Kodak Black is still locked up after getting arrested at the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami for federal and state gun charges. The charges state that Kodak falsified statements about trying to buy guns illegally. Police say he lied on two applications. Three guns were reportedly bought with 100 rounds of ammo from Lou’s Police Distributors. $3,518.71 was spent on a mini draco pistol, Sig MPX K 9mm pistol, and Sig P238 .380 pistol. Now, more legal woes are plaguing Kodak.

According to TMZ, feds are also investigating Kodak for a shooting in his hometown of Pompano Beach, Florida from this past March. Prosecutors are saying on the seventh of that month, Kodak drove a rented Porsche Panamera to Golden Acres, the Pompano Beach neighborhood where he’s from and fired shots at who was supposedly another rapper he was beefing with.

The artist wasn’t home at the time but the home had children in it but no one was shot. Kodak’s Porsche was found 14 miles from the shooting and damaged. Fingerprints on the gun used also link to Kodak. Court documents state that witnesses saw Kodak at the scene letting the shots off but he hasn’t been charged and the investigation is ongoing.

Kodak’s attorney Bradford Cohen denies that the fingerprints found on the gun are his. He also denied that witnesses at the scene of the shooting saw Kodak use the weapon. Kodak was also arrested last month at the U.S border on weapons charges prior to a show in Boston. He could be running out of strikes soon. He hasn’t been granted bond in this case.
