Lawsuit Involving Offset Not Paying $13,000 To Stylist Company Dismissed After Neither Party Showed Up In Court

Offset is in the middle of so much legal drama right now. A few weeks back, he smacked a recording fan’s phone out of his hand at Target which resulted in a felony lawsuit. He’s also due in court this month for felony gun possession dating back to a traffic stop last summer. He’s also been dealing with a lawsuit involving a stylist company who was never paid by Offset.

The Miami-based stylist company The Meyhem Group has been saying that Offset never paid the $13,000 owed to them. It was originally $11,699.60 but the $1,500 in interest totaled $13,000. Receipts were presented to Offset but no payments were made. According to The Blast, the lawsuit has now been dismissed by a judge.

Both Offset and the group were supposed to show up in court on April 23 but nobody showed up. That resulted in the judge just deciding to dismiss the case. It’ll be interesting to see if Offset is able to come out on top over these legal woes this summer. Back in 2015, he served eight months in jail after Migos were caught up in a weapons case in Statesboro, GA.
