Philadelphia 76ers Co-Owner Michael Rubin Calls Out Judge Genece Brinkley For Not Letting Meek Mill Fly To Toronto For Sixers-Raptors Playoff Game; Brinkley Sentenced Meek To 2-4 Years In Jail For Popping Wheelies On Motorcycle In 2017

In October 2017, Judge Genece Brinkley sentenced Meek Mill to 2-4 years in prison for violation probation which she said was the result of him popping wheelies on a motorcycle in New York City. He only ended up service six months though thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. This was a huge injustice. Throughout this whole process, Brinkley has shown that she has personal issues with Meek. She even demanded that he shout her out in a Boys II Men sample.

The latest drama from Brinkley is that she just blocked Meek from being able to travel to Toronto for the NBA Playoffs’ second round matchup between the Raptors and his hometown Philadelphia 76ers tomorrow, according to team co-owner Michael Rubin. He took to Instagram tonight to call out Brinkley for this. Rubin and Meek have been close since his incarceration.

Rubin said Brinkley is obsessed with trying to control every aspect of Meek’s life and even said that Meek’s probation approved the travel. Rubin added that Meek still has to get approval from Brinkley every time he leaves the state of Pennsylvania because of a crime he didn’t commit over 10 years ago. He concluded by saying Brinkley has been dodging their emails regarding traveling to Canada too.

Brinkley has shown complete bias against Meek for almost two years now. Salute to Mr. Rubin for using his platform to address this injustice. Brinkley has no business being a judge. Check out Rubin’s IG post defending Meek below.

Judge Genece Brinkley – I know you have a vendetta against Meek Mill and are obsessed with trying to control every aspect of his life, but did you really NOT approve him to go to rep the sixers in Toronto for the game? As soon as the schedule came out, Meek asked probation for approval- they immediately approved! (FOR EVERYONE WHO DOESN’T UNDERSTAND, MEEK MUST STILL GET THE JUDGES APPROVAL PERSONALLY EVERYTIME HE LEAVES PA SINCE HE’S STILL ON PROBATION 12 YEARS LATER FOR A CRIME HE DIDN’T COMMIT) We filed w/your court as soon as the schedule came out since you need to approve travel to Canada! Since you didn’t respond to numerous phone calls and emails we even sent a lawyer to the courthouse today!! AND MOST IMPORTANTLY IF THIS HAPPENS TO MEEK, WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS TO THE AVG PERSON(WHO CANT AFFORD GREAT LAWYERS ETC)ON PROBATION??
