Five years ago, Nicki and Safaree split, and he has since reinvented himself as a reality TV star. His reality TV appearances led to him meeting Erica Mena, instantly falling for her. In the midst of this, Erica sided with Remy Ma, in her beef with Nicki Minaj, early in 2017.
However, Erica Mena was once a huge Nicki Minaj supporter, partnering with her Kmart line, back in 2013, even. But, when she and Safaree did their Hot 97 interview, Erica played it off, acting as if she didn’t know Nicki’s music, leading to the Barbz digging up the history. They haven’t stopped, as a Barb named Darius Hill went as far as finding Erica’s clips in DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” remix video, with Nicki, to prove she knew her.
