Back in 2015, NeNe Leakes went through this with Cynthia Bailey, ending their friendship. It wasn’t just no longer being friends, though, as NeNe also suggested Andy Cohen fire Cynthia. Normally soft-spoken, that comment led to Cynthia fighting back against NeNe.
At the time, it looked like NeNe and Cynthia would never make amends, but they did. However, when NeNe came to return to Cynthia’s life, she had Kenya Moore as her new bestie. But, Cynthia played that off as “still getting to know” Kenya, sparking minor controversies.
On the season finale, NeNe turned on Cynthia, and Kandi, for the inviting of Kenya to Cynthia’s season finale event. To NeNe, this was the final straw, as she banished Cynthia from her life. During a recent interview, Cynthia said she’s glad to be free of NeNe, relieved she’s no longer her friend, and glad Kenya made it happen.
