Police Put Kerry Latham In Jail For Violating Parole; A Man Who Nipsey Hussle Was Getting Clothes For At His Marathon Clothing Store After Just Getting Out Of Jail; Say That Hanging With Nipsey Was “Associating With A Known Gang Member”

Nipsey Hussle’s funeral was yesterday in his hometown of Los Angeles at the historic STAPLES Center. Nip’s family spoke on his amazing legacy along with YG and Snoop Dogg. Performances were also made by Jhene Aiko, Stevie Wonder, Anthony Hamilton, and Marsha Ambrosius.

More sad news is emerging in Nipsey’s death. One of the men shot with Nipsey by Eric Holder in front of The Marathon Clothing store was 56-year-old Kerry Latham. Lathan had just got out of prison on parole after serving 20 years in prison. Nipsey was about to hook Lathan up with some clothes from his store.

Latham survived the shooting and was treated at the hospital. According to TMZ now, Latham has now been arrested for violating the terms of his parole for “Associating with a known gang member” in regards to Nipsey. He was arrested at his halfway house. Nipsey is associated with the Rollin 60s Crips but has still made an impact in his LA community for the better by investing in businesses and giving people jobs.

Latham is now at Men’s Central Jail in downtown L.A. in a wheelchair and can’t walk. This is another racial injustice in America. Police still want to look at Nipsey Hussle as a “known gang member” despite the good that he’s brought to the community. Hopefully Latham gets justice soon. Salute to Nipsey as well for looking out for Latham after getting out of prison.
