Kodak Black has been catching fire from a lot of artists in the industry tonight for his comments about Nipsey Hussle’s wife Lauren London. Kodak said how London is single, is about to be a widow, and he can be the best man for her. He added that she will “need a whole year to be crying and s*it.” This has drawn criticism from T.I., Tank, and more.
Now, the latest to go in on Kodak for his insensitive comments is The Game. Like Nipsey, Game is from Los Angeles as well and was also close friends with the late rapper. Game took to Instagram to explain how disrespectful Kodak was about his comments about London.
Game says that Kodak is disrespecting Nipsey’s name, legacy, and his family. He wants Kodak to keep Nipsey’s and London’s name out of his mouth. He also thinks this new generation of rappers are “f*cked up in the head.”
The Game was on point with his response to Kodak Black. Lauren London is grieving from a tragedy and lost someone very special to her and who she viewed as her sanctuary. Kodak was more than disrespectful. It seems like he craves the attention. Just last month, he disrespected Lil Wayne by saying he should’ve died as a baby. He also disrespected black women that are dark skinned in the past as well. These younger rappers need to be put up on game about respect and how to pay homage to artists who’ve made differences in the world.
