Nipsey Hussle’s funeral will take place on April 11 at Staples Center in Los Angeles and that venue is also home to LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers. James has since shown support for Nipsey by wearing different shirts that pays tribute to the west coast legend along with speaking out on social media about the horrible death of one of the west coast’s best rappers ever and someone who always made a difference in his community.
James recently opened up about Nipsey’s death in a new interview with CBS 2 Los Angeles. He is calling it one of the most unfortunate events that’s happened in American history.” He also offered condolences to Nipsey’s friends and family.
Nipsey is a friend of James’ and he still doesn’t believe this tragedy happened. James stressed that seeing where Nipsey came from and the way his life was taken by someone who didn’t have the same drive as him, it continues to be an issue in inner cities. He thinks that people like Eric Holder continue to grow envy and jealousy towards people in their city like Nipsey.
Salute to LeBron James for always using his platform to make the community better and addressing social injustices. Check out his CBS interview below.
