Unfortunately, the weekend ended on a harsh note, for Nipsey Hussle, as his life was lost. Despite only releasing one official album, Nipsey was a veteran of nearly fifteen years, in the rap game. This time saw him drop several projects.
Nipsey Hussle’s most-notable release was Crenshaw, his 2013 mixtape, of which he sold physical copies for $100. For his efforts, Jay-Z purchased ten copies of the tape. That gesture led to what became a lifelong friendship.
But, Nipsey Hussle’s true lifelong friend, was Lauren London, also his soulmate and lover. The two were married and had children together, but were recently split, yet finding their way back to each other. After their recent GQ shoot, fans wondered if they were getting married, again.
Sadly, that won’t happen, now, but Lauren London has spoken on Nipsey’s death for the first time, sharing a photo of him, along with a message about what he meant to her.
