Tonight, Russell Westbrook put on a show, maybe it is a meaningless game, for the NBA, but it meant everything for hip hop. The Thunder played the Lakers, tonight, who are out of the playoff chase. On top of that, LeBron James isn’t even playing, anymore.

Russell Westbrook’s crew, though, they are fighting for the final playoff spot. Sadly, in Russell’s native LA, Nipsey Hussle, the hometown hero, was killed. Playing the Lakers had more sentimental value, for this game, and Westbrook went for 20, 20, and 20.

In the postgame interview, with Jason Terry, Russell Westbrook spoke on his performance. Two words, “for Nipsey,” took over Twitter, as he said this performance was for him. As he explained the three “20s,” a whole other subject was brought up, and those who know have it trending on Twitter, along with the fans.
