Black twitter never ceases to amaze me.
The official twitter account for Marvel tweeted out the poster for the upcoming ‘Avengers Endgame’ movie, but fans quickly noticed that something was missing. There were 13 characters on the poster, but only 12 of their names were listed at the top of the poster. ‘Black Panther’s’ very own, Danai Gurira, was the ONLY name missing.
Fans went in on Marvel, saying that they left the only black woman on the poster out on purpose.
Marvel’s mentions must’ve been on fire today, because they recently tweeted out a revised copy of the poster, with Danai’s name added. They tweeted
“She should have been up there all this time. Check out the official Marvel Studios’ #AvengersEndgame poster. @DanaiGurira #WakandaForever.”
