Wiley, Stefflon Don, Sean Paul, and Idris Elba get “Boasty” in London in their hot new music video. The Henry Scholfield-directed visual is flawless with its creative direction of smooth and effortless transitions.
Scholfield talks about the “Boasty” video saying:
“I liked this idea of the artists all competing for lyrical screen-space with them crumpling, folding, or stomping on each other to bring us from one to the next. It had a kinda vibe of big upmanship and a visual riff on who’s the boasty-iest… to say it was a shoot to remember would be a bit of an understatement. What a killer quartet of awesome artists.”
In the Caribbean hip rolling visual, it kicks off with young actor Brooklyn Appiah lip syncing Wiley’s bars before shifting the focus to a blue haired Stefflon Don rhyming her lyrics in a hair salon and throughout the streets of London. Next up, Sean Paul hops in moving from gambling in an underground club to grabbing some food. To wrap up the Caribbean inspired visual Idris is seen mimicking his everyday life with production and make up artists touching him up on set and organizing his wardrobe before he places himself in front of the camera making sure to get his best looks.
