It was 2 Live Crew that first put Miami on the map, but Trick Daddy is the one who brought the spotlight to the 305. The dynamic between Trick Daddy and Trina is one that’s unmatched. There are many reasons VH1 cast them for “Love & Hip Hop Miami.”

Trick Daddy rose to the top of the rap game, following years of hits and misses, in 2000. That was when “Take It To The House” became a major hit. In 2004, Trick reached the peak of his career, with “Let’s Go,” but then fell off the face of the planet, before returning on social media.

Still, Trick Daddy is regarded as a legend, with all the work he’s put in, as he reinvented himself via social media. Along with that, he has the podcast, “Famous and Uncensored,” with Supa Cindy. Taking time away from that, Trick Daddy visited N.O.R.E. and DJ EFN, talking rap influences, female rappers, reality TV, Veronica Vega, and more.
