Get Ready, Get Set, It’s Alllll thaaatttt! To all the 90s babies, ‘All That’ is making the biggest come back of 2019. Nickelodeon announced that Kenan Thompson will be the executive producer of the reboot for the popular 1990s tv show, “‘All That.’ Sounds like Superdude is saving the day once again and 90s kids are all the way here for it!

During a press release Thursday (February 14th), the network was excited to announce that they are bringing back their long-running sketch-comedy show under the direction of former cast member and current Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson. The show initially aired in April of ‘94 and will feature the original all star cast alongside a new cast of kids.

Once word got out about the reboot fans were ecstatic but made one thing clear: Nickelodeon shouldn’t scrap the TLC theme song.

All though the debate on social media got real, really quick it seems hopeful with Kenan behind it! He’s a great innovator, creative and curator. As the debate continues, Nickelodeon President Brian Robbins also chimed in and told Variety that he sees great potential in the reboot, which will include “a sort of mash-up of some old sketches and a lot of new sketches.”

Robbins continues:

“We think there’s a great opportunity to find the next pool of stars. We want to bring the show back in a real fun way,” Robbins said, according to Variety. “This summer, we are going to bring back a lot of the original cast and the cast through the years, and let them introduce the new cast of ‘All That’ to the world.”

Thompson is also super excited and has a lot in store for 90s kids and even the new generation. He sits with Variety and says, “…that being at the helm of the reboot means everything to me. It was my first job that I ever had. It gave me an opportunity.”

You can’t talk about the 90s and not mention ‘All That’ so to hear that it is making its way back to our televisions is super exciting! We can’t wait to see what Kenan and the team at Nickelodeon have in store. Stay tuned!
