Drake makes creating hit records look easy and he did that with “God’s Plan” in 2018. He was up for three Grammys tonight and God’s Plan just won the award for Best Rap Song.
God’s Plan spent 11 weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The video for the record was also praised as he was seen giving back to the community as it was shot in Miami. It’s also since been certified platinum by the RIAA.
Along with the record’s success, Drake gave away $1 million to people in Florida along with schools. God’s Plan would go on to appear on Drake’s fifth studio album “Scorpion” album last June.
