Childish Gambino Wins “Record of the Year” Award At #Grammys With “This Is America”

Childish Gambino had a huge night at the Grammys. Earlier, he won the award for “Song of the Year” with “This Is America.” The song addresses issues in our country such as racism and police brutality.

Now, Gambino helped close out the show by taking home the award for “Record of the Year.” He wasn’t in attendance tonight to accept his awards but his team vouched for him in a major way and honored his contributions to music.

Gambino’s last album was “Awaken, My Love!” in 2016 but has made up for the recent absence of a new project with This Is America and season two of the hit TV series ‘Atlanta‘ last spring.
