It seems like the NFL’s nudity rule is not the same across all genders.
Adam Levine performed for the Super Bowl halftime show, and towards the end of his performance, he took his shirt off. Celebrities and fans on twitter pondered why it’s okay for him to show his nipples, when Janet Jackson was blackballed by the industry for her nip-slip.
Aisha Tyler tweeted “Why is it okay to see Adam Levine’s boobs and not Janet Jackson’s? Asking for a friend.”
I think we should stop sexualizing women’s breasts and #freethenipple. What do y’all think about Adam being able to be shirtless for his performance?
