Based on the 2011 film of the same name, Miss Bala stars the popular actress, Gina Rodriguez. The Miss Bala in question is Rodriguez, who portrays a woman who is a young woman finding her way. A “wrong place, wrong time” situation ends up proving costly, though.
Witnessing her friend getting kidnapped by the drug cartel leads the young Gloria (Rodriguez) on a wild chase. Now, she finds herself embroiled in a dispute with a powerful cartel. This shapes up to be 2019’s first action movie.
