Through his career, Soulja Boy has had some weird ups and downs. A lot of people were surprised to discover how successful his business career has been. Back when iTunes was just for established artists, he used it to build his own career.
Owning the connection, Soulja Boy was able to make millions off the internet, more than established artists. The Atlanta rapper topped Billboard, his first time out. Being written off as a one hit wonder didn’t slow him down, as Soulja Boy dropped hits from 2007-2010.
Soulja Boy has since become a reality star, doing three seasons of the hit VH1 series, “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.” When 2019 began, he reunited with Nia Riley for “Marriage Boot Camp.” Outside of that, he has had beef with Tyga over the 2018 comeback of the year, bringing his IG Live rants to “The Breakfast Club,” also blasting Drake and Kanye West, to the delight of Charlamagne, entertaining DJ Envy and Angela Yee.
