It’s not safe, anywhere, but people expect some places to be a bit calmer than they are. Going to the mall is something people enjoy doing, just as a way to get out. But, now the malls are getting shot up, so that’s not a place people are trying to go.
In Jersey City, New Jersey, Newport Mall is the place to be. There are some things that go down there, including a few high profile fights, in 2016, but it’s an overall good place. Unfortunately, the mall is ground zero of a crisis, tonight.
Several people have taken to Twitter, saying Newport Mall is having a shooting, right now. People say at least two shots were fired in the mall. That is enough for people to talk about avoiding the place and getting out of there, rightfully so.
