WATCH NOW: Jane Handcock’s “SixFourSeven” Video

Jane Handcock gets personal in her new video for the dreamy self-produced track “SixFourSeven,” an introspective love song she wrote after a relationship with someone in Canada’s 647 area code. Long distance boos can be heartbreaking…what kind of future is even possible with someone so far away? As Jane muses in her lyrics, This ain’t no fairy tale baby/ The future is scary as hell baby.

As the intimate behind-the-scenes-style film captures Jane walking and reflecting, this wise-beyond-her-years Oakland native refuses to let her fears keep her from love.

As long as I’m with you, everything is cool/ I don’t get too deep, cuz everytime we lose/ That’s why I don’t think, I just only do…what I feel.

“SixFourSeven” is one of many stand-out tracks on Jane Handcock’s latest EP, Where’s Jane? 1.5. Find more of Jane here.
