Lifetime’s viral ‘Surviving R. Kelly’ docuseries has sparked the attention and interest of viewers, fans, media and now the authorities. On Monday (January 6th) Atlanta reporters announce that an arrest warrant has been issued to R. Kelly’s manager, James Mason, for threatening accusers which dates back to July of 2018. They’ve been unable to locate him due to him supposedly traveling on the road.

The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office located in Georgia has opened an investigation on the “Pied Piper” over the allegations expressed throughout the Lifetime doc series. Investigators have reached out and caught up with a couple of the accusers featured in the documentary including Asante McGee, and the family of Jocelyn Savage. CBS Atlanta reporter Jonathan Carlson tweeted out that since last year a new threat to accusers has been made on January 3rd from Kelly’s camp, his other manager Don Russell. The police filed the report on January 4th for “harassing communications involving witnesses,” but at this time there isn’t a warrant out for Russell’s arrest.

The DA isn’t playing, not only are they investigating the singer, but also his previously owned Johns Creek, Georgia mansion. Although this is a very serious matter, it seems as though social media has found the humor in it all. All of this information is making for a field day on Twitter! We went comment creepin’ and found comments flooding posts hilariously trolling R. Kelly using his greatest hits.
