A year ago, BlocBoy JB went from being one of a ton of mixtape famous rappers to being on the Billboard Hot 100 top five. His track, “Look Alive” caught Drake’s attention and changed BlocBoy JB’s life. In a few short months, he became rap’s biggest breakout star.
BlocBoy JB, until he proves otherwise, is a one hit wonder. But, he still has a prominent presence, in the game. It’s only been a year since his last big record, so he has more than a chance to get it going, once again.
In the meantime, BlocBoy JB is offering commentary. The Memphis rapper caught Yung Joc’s latest hairstyle. He clowned that hair change, referring to it as “blue raspberry,” as he questioned what Yung Joc had going on.
