When it comes to hardcore rap, in the Deep South, Boosie Badazz is the epitome of it. The Baton Rouge rapper took over the streets and soon had the whole South behind him. All of his success didn’t come without struggle, though.

Boosie ended up going to prison, in 2009, and stayed there until he was released in 2014. Only a few months later, Boosie was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, leading many to worry about him. Forever a fighter, one surgery, and Boosie beat the cancer.

Since being rid of his cancer, Boosie has been going hard with his shows, making all kinds of money. Back in the Deep South, Boosie had a birthday show in Huntsville, Alabama, last night. Unfortunately, a shooting ended the show, before it started, and Boosie called out the gunmen.
