Two weekends ago, Jacquees came with a bold proclamation. As one of the only viable new R&B artists, Jacquees crowned himself the king of R&B. This comment had a lot of people going, rubbing many the wrong way.

Jacquees explained, in his video, that he meant he was the king of this generation. Of course, that comment wound up being overlooked by everyone who wanted to have a controversy. Finally, Jacquees has met famed singer, Keith Sweat.

The two did an interview for V-103, in Atlanta, where the “King of R&B” debate was hashed out. Behind the scenes, the two had a run-in, which was caught by TMZ. Here, Jacquees told Keith Sweat he was the king of the old generation, and this was his, leading to Twitter going in on the youngster.
