Meek Mill released his fourth studio album “Championships” last week and had social media buzzing. The project is headlined by records such as “What’s Free” featuring Jay Z, “Going Bad” featuring Drake Rick Ross and “On Me” featuring Cardi B. The anticipation was real after Meek was released from prison after spending six months for an unjust sentence for a probation violation stemming from popping wheelies on a motorcycle.

Meek’s hard work is paying off as he’s earned the top spot with 208,000 units moved. 34k were pure sales. Lil Baby came behind Meek with 84k with his “Street Gossip” album. Three and four were headlined by Ski Mask The Slump God’s “Stokeley” and Earl Sweatshirt’s “Some Rap Songs.” As of 12/7, Meek was at 207,894 according to HitsDailyDouble.

Meek won big with Championships and he could also release another project by the end of 2018. In his #AskMeek sessions on Twitter, he said that this could be the case when a fan asked if he’d release another “The Real Me” mixtape. He simply proposed dropping another album.
