For well over twenty years, Benzino has been a fixture in the hip hop industry. Beginning as a rapper, the Boston native had a relationship with The Source, which led to him becoming a part-owner. Years later, a beef with Eminem led to him being ousted from the magazine.

Quick on his feet, Benzino went onto create Hip Hop Weekly, and debuted on “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” not long afterward. After season three, he left the show. But, Benzino did some shows on WEtv, along with “The Next 15,” on TV One.

In 2017, Benzino picked up some drug charges, which have led to him awaiting trial. Next month, Benzino’s trial will begin, and it has the potential to not go so well for him. The rapper/reality star/businessman could serve anywhere from two to fifteen years in prison, if found guilty.
