A year ago, Cardi B was riding the upside of fame, going from a B-list reality star to the biggest name in music. No artist has had a more-impacting debut run than Cardi B, since 50 Cent. So much pressure was on her to come back stronger in 2018.
Cardi B delivered “Be Careful,” which was a radio hit, and she did the impossible, when “I Like It” reached number one on Billboard. That made Cardi B the only female rapper, in history, to have two number ones. Now, Cardi B is going into 2019 with even more momentum.
When she had her baby, Cardi B said she wasn’t going to stop, because she has a child to feed. Immediately, she began working on her sophomore album and “Money” is the lead single. Now, rumors suggest she has a Beyonce feature on the album.
