Suge Knight is still not seeing any luck in his manslaughter case from 2015 involving a hit-and-run incident at the location of the filming of the NWA-based movie ‘Straight Outta Compton.’  The music mogul has no pleaded no contest to the murder and will be sentenced on October 4, according to CNN.

Knight ran over two men in January of that year with Terry Carter being the one man dying. As part of the plea deal, prosecutors are looking at 28 years in prison for Knight. Charges that he faced are one count of murder in the death of Carter and one count of attempted murder of Cle ‘Bone’ Sloan. One count of hit-and-run was also added to the charges.

The only argument that Knight was able to create was that Sloan was armed and that he had to defend himself. CNN also added that Knight could face an additional five years to his sentence due to severity of his felony charges and another year for use of a deadly weapon.

Knight made a name for himself in the music industry by launching Death Row Records which ended up being one of the most successful record labels of the 90s and was home to names such as 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, Kurupt, Michel’le, and more. Since his 90s takeover ended, Knight has run into a series of legal issues outside of the hit-and-run incident also.
