Hip hop fans have spent most of 2018 clowning Eminem for his last album release. Anticipation was high for Revival, but the reactions to the album are not what Eminem is used to receiving. Even with Encore and Relapse, Eminem had the support of fans.
Eminem returned and dominated 2009-2011, with Relapse and the follow-up, Recovery. Initially, Recovery was to be called Relapse 2, but he changed course. Relapse was panned, while Recovery was hailed and Eminem credited Relapse‘s short-comings on Recovery‘s success.
With Kamikaze, Eminem simply has people talking, which is what he’s all about. Now, he sat down with Sway for an in-depth interview, which is an ongoing series. In part one, he speaks on his previous panned albums, and the Machine Gun Kelly beef.
