Since the early Migos days, Quavo has been the most-popular member of the group. However, 2018 saw Offset grab a lot of that spotlight, which was expected, due to him and Cardi B getting married. But, he also proved he had star power.
Offset dropped his solo single, “Ric Flair Drip,” early this year, to much success. Following this, Offset gave Tyga an assist on “Taste,” one of the summer’s biggest hits. But, Quavo is coming back for that spotlight, himself.
Quavo stopped by Power 105.1, in NYC, to talk to Angie Martinez. He has a new album coming in September, so he told her all the details, plus spoke on touring with Drake. Before he left, he also discussed creating “Apesh*t” for Beyonce and Jay-Z.
