Flex and Nicki Minaj squash differences and standards in hip hop; Talks Drake reference tracks, Meek and Safaree, and more #WeGotaStoryToTell020 [VIDEO]

No female rapper has enjoyed a run that has lasted as long as the one that Nicki Minaj is currently on. Every year, she has had little to no competition in being the top female rapper. The Queens rapper only recently has faced serious competition.

Back in 2014, Iggy Azalea emerged, and the media tried pitting her against Nicki Minaj. Ultimately, 2014 proved to be it for Iggy, but 2016 saw Remy Ma emerge. People successfully pit them against each other, but Cardi B was the superstar, who has had staying power.

Nicki Minaj recently visited Funkmaster Flex at Hot 97. The interview saw them discuss their past differences, circa 2012, before jumping into the interview. She touched on all the drama, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, the pressures of the game, Cash Money, Meek Mill, Drake, Safaree, and more.
