There are some critics that have tried to downplay LeBron James signing with the Lakers. Like it or not, the Lakers are officially contenders now. Critics point out the Cavs’ records, during LeBron’s 2014-2018 run, but that team was focused on the playoffs.
In the East, teams don’t have to win nearly as much to make the playoffs as teams out West do. So, LeBron James will be going for more regular season wins. Likely, his most-important game will be the matchup on Christmas Day with the Golden State Warriors.
Before all of that, the training camps will begin. Getting ready for all of that, LeBron James has given fans a glimpse of what’s to come. He has shown himself, for the first time, rocking the Lakers’ new-look uniform, which is actually their old look from the Magic Johnson era.
