The first person to actually give it a name was Darius (LaKeith Stanfield) from “Atlanta.” All the antics that go on in Florida, Darius said was Florida Man. Once Darius gave a name to it, Sylvan LaCue made a song about him.
In the months since then, Florida Man has become a part of the culture, often mentioned in discussions. The sheer amount of things that go on down in Florida keep people talking. This time, a Back to School event was ground zero for more potential tragedy.
A Florida Man ended up shooting up an event in Titusville. While shooting, an armed bystander diffused the situation. In the midst of the shooting, the bystander shot the gunman, saving the lives of everyone there.
