Once it became clear the Oklahoma City Thunder were looking to move on from Carmelo Anthony, rumors began about him joining the Rockets. Last season, the Rockets had the NBA’s best record. Many argue that if they had Chris Paul in Game 7, they’d be the defending NBA champs.

Because of how Carmelo Anthony was a bad fit, in OKC, some sports critics don’t see how he makes Houston better. Others, however, argue that he was misused with the Thunder. Being in Houston’s system would be worth the players they’d sacrifice to fit him in.

From how it looks, there might not be much of a sacrifice, though. The veteran NBA player was traded by the Thunder to the Atlanta Hawks, who made it clear that they intended to waive him. Once the waivers take place, reports say Carmelo Anthony is signing with James Harden’s Rockets.
