All summer long, King Combs has been working his “Love You Better” single. Actually, the song came out back in February, and King Combs hit the ground running. As a second-generation hip hop star, he had to come correct.
King Combs paid homage to the old school, sampling Case’s 1996 hit single, “Touch Me, Tease Me,” featuring Mary J. Blige and Foxy Brown, a classic. But, King Combs did justice by the sample. He got the go-to hook king, Chris Brown, and he sampled Case’s classic line.
At the 2018 BET Awards, King Combs brought Case out to perform the record. This week, the actual music video dropped, and King Combs paid homage to Biggie’s “One More Chance” video, filling it with cameos, namely DJ Khaled, and his big brother, Justin, lip syncing Chris Brown’s part. This week, King Combs brought 1995 back.
