It’s scary how good the Boston Celtics were, down the stretch. This is a team that nobody gave a shot, because their best two players were injured, in the playoffs. In the case of Gordon Hayward, he got hurt before the season even started.
Gordon Hayward was expected to come in and be that piece for the Celtics to finally take over the East. Of course, when the deal was first executed, he was being paired with Isaiah Thomas. But, by the time the season started, it was all about him and Kyrie Irving.
By the time the playoffs started, Kyrie Irving joined Gordon Hayward on the bench. So, with all of this down time, Gordon Hayward was only able to really work on one thing, which was his hair. Telling fans to ask him anything, Gordon Hayward was asked about his hair, and he finally shared the secret.
