Kawhi Leonard to the Raptors? Reports say the Raptors are trying to work out a trade for the disgruntled Spurs star

Courtesy of Kawhi Leonard, the San Antonio Spurs have struggled like they’re a regular team. Their franchise player essentially is refusing to play for them, and they only won 47 games. On top of that, the Spurs were nearly swept in the first round.

These types of struggles are something fans would expect from a team like the Toronto Raptors. But, over the past three seasons, the Raptors are a 50-win team, and even went to the Conference Finals. Their duo of DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry just wasn’t enough.

With LeBron James now playing for the Lakers, the Raptors will only have the Celtics and Sixers to contend with, in the East. That situation becomes much easier if they land Kawhi Leonard, while somehow managing to retain DeMar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry. Reports say the Raptors are working to make that happen.
