Due to the tragic deaths of two promising, young, rappers, a lot of good news has gone overlooked. But, in the midst of all this, a witness in the 2002 C-Murder shooting came forward to recant their story. Initially, they claimed C-Murder shot and killed a minor, in the club.

After reversing the claim, C-Murder was off the hook for any wrongdoing. However, the New Orleans rapper remained in police custody. All of that has now changed and C-Murder is now officially a free man.

C-Murder was released from prison, this morning, and also did an interview with Christina Watkins, from WDBU NBC 6. In the interview, which showed C-Murder leaving prison, this morning, he spoke on the time he missed, raising his kids, continuing his career, and the future. He expressed gratitude for the witness speaking out.
